Jason Leopold is an investigative reporter covering Guantanamo, counterterrorism, national security, human rights, open government and civil liberties issues. He’s been called a “FOIA Terrorist” by federal employees for his aggressive use of the Freedom of Information Act, which included suing the FBI and forcing the agency to changes its policies. He is currently a contributing editor for Al Jazeera and is the recipient of a Freedom of Press Foundation grant.

He’s the author of the national bestseller, News Junkie, and an investigative report, From Hopeful to Immigrant to FBI Informant: The Inside Story of the Other Abu Zubaidah, which was published in the form of an ebook. Leopold’s investigative reporting highlights includes “Revised Guantanamo Force-Feed Policy Exposed,” a story based on a military document he exclusively obtained, and “Sold Into ‘A Piece of Hell’: A Death of Innocence at Gitmo,” about the suspicious death in September 2012 of prisoner Adnan Latif. A radio documentary about Leopold’s life, based on his book News Junkie, was broadcast by the award-winning podcast, Love + Radio and featured on NPR.

Jason is a coffee aficionado whose prolific work is fuel by caffeine.

Sean Bonner is a Los Angeles based entrepreneur, journalist, activist and enthusiast. As co-founder and global director of Safecast (an open global sensor network currently monitoring radiation levels in Japan), Sean spends a lot of time thinking about maps and data these days. He is part of the multimedia art/music collective Cross My Heart. He co-founded Crash Space (a Los Angeles hackerspace) and Coffee Common (a customer education brand collaboration launched at TED 2011), and curates the Coffee Posse, which mails out hand selected coffee to a limited list of customers.

As co-founder of Bode Media Inc, Sean helped create Metblogs, the first global network of local media sites. As a consultant, he’s helped The Groop, SuicideGirls, Obey Giant, Shopzilla and others interact with their customers, clients, and fans online. Sean has also hosted the iPhone game review show iPhun, designed the cover of Die Antwoord’s “$O$” album, is a contributor to BoingBoing, and has written editorials for MAKE, Al Jazeera, and others.

Prior to all this, Sean helped build the groundbreaking contemporary art gallery sixspace exhibiting artists such as Glen E. Friedman, Shepard Fairey, Coop, Chad Robertson and others. He also ran a record label and produced several records by Hot Water Music and Less Than Jake to name a few. He’s managed a design firm, worked as Sr. Designer for Playboy.com and Creative Director for Victory Records. Way before that he was a dishwasher.

Tait Fletcher is an actor, stuntman, and coffee connoisseur, who runs his own boutique company, Caveman Coffee. He has been featured on numerous TV shows and films, and had a recurring role as Lester on the hit AMC series Breaking Bad.

His company, Caveman Coffee, is unique in that it specializes in not only a Single Origin/Single Estate Coffee, but a Single Family Coffee. Caveman’s beans are grown, washed, dried and roast by one family. A father and son team run the growing and drying in Colombia and the other two sons handle the small batch roasts. Caveman Coffee are part of the Specialty Coffee Association, a certification held by just 7% of the worlds coffee producers.
