TRY: A punk rock DIY spin on the classic French manicure – done the easy way with the help of a little sticky tape.
WHY: Everything is better when done French style.
Things You’ll Need:
- 2 different color nail polishes (one for a base color and the other for the tips)
- Clear nail polish
- Tape
- Cotton swabs (optional)
HOW TO:
- 1. Apply you base color (a couple coats) and let it completely dry.
- 2. Get a piece of tape (a little longer than the width of your toe) and stick it to your fingers to get some of the stickiness off. If it’s too sticky it can pull off your base coat.
- 3. Find about where your natural tip would be. Stick the tape right under the tip. Press down the whole way across the nail.
- 4. Take your tip color and apply across the nail from the top of the tape to the top of the nail.
- 5. Gently and slowly pull off tape and repeat on each nail.
- 6. After you let your nails completely dry, apply a top coat.
