About SWIMM (@SWIMMmusic)

SWIMM is the music of Chris Hess and Adam Winn. They write, record, and play live with several friends including Spencer Petersen, Adrian Martinez, Jared Bowser, Gavin Little, Jonathan Berlin, Zac Sullivan, Justin Morales, and Thomas Carroll.

“Although the band’s American, fans of British guitar sounds a la Stone Roses, The Verve, Marc Bolan and Tame Impala will fall hard for SWIMM’s unforgettable music.” ~ iTunes

Blending elements of dance music, rock n’ roll and shoegaze/folk with psychedelia as the cohesive element, SWIMM has created an original sounding first release that has people very curious about what will come next from this Florida group. Following the release of the Feel EP, SWIMM began playing a number of energetic DIY shows in California, New York and Florida, building a rep for an experiential live show. The release launched the band into an abundance of positive press.

After 12 years of being the weirdest, sexiest corner of the internet, SuicideGirls has taken down the site it launched in 2001 and launched a new responsive website, which went live on October 8, 2013.

With over 2 million unique visitors a month and combined iOS and Android traffic now
making up more then half of the visits – a trends that’s continuing to grow at 4% a month – the new responsive layout is designed to deliver photos, videos and conversations as quickly and easily as possible regardless of the device being used to visit SuicideGirls.com.

“It’s a rare opportunity to completely rethink and redesign a 12 year old website from the ground up. Instead of creating a separate mobile and computer product, we decided on one completely responsive product that would look beautiful on any screen: phone, tablet or computer, retina or lo-res. We built the new SuicideGirls with no bitmap images other then the photos our community upload, to ensure all the bandwidth was being used delivering content,” says Courtney Riot, who has been the Art Director of SuicideGirls since 2004.

Riot worked with world-renowned responsive design guru Mike Kus and cutting edge developers The Foundry Interactive, to redesign and develop the new product. The new site is 100% CSS, with retina quality images and a slew of new integrations with existing social juggernauts like Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

“Every comment, every blog, every post, every group, every photo and every video that our nearly 1,000,000 members have added to our community over the last 12 years is still there and part of the new site, just presented in a way that can be accessible instantly from any device,” says SuicideGirls founder, Missy Suicide. “We are actually going back through the tens of thousands of photo sets and re-uploading them in HiRes so even photos that were published on our site in 2002 will now be crisp and beautiful on a Retina iPad.”

The new website launch is also in conjunction with the SuicideGirls Blackheart Burlesque Tour currently taking place throughout the U.S. this fall. For more information and tickets visit BlackheartBurlesque.com
