About Emilie Autumn
World-class violinist, actress, author, fashion icon, famously bipolar…the list goes on, but one thing is certain: We’re talking about Emilie Autumn.

With appearances on Leno and Letterman as part of Courtney Love’s band, glossy magazine covers throughout the world, and guest spots on albums by such artists as Love, Otep, Billy Corgan, and TV’s Metalocalypse, Emilie Autumn’s devilishly dark lyrics, metal-shredding violin solos, and industrial strength voice reinvent “gothic” for the masses.

Her discography includes Your Sugar Sits Untouched, A Bit O’ This & That, Enchant and Laced /Unlaced in which she showcases her violin mastery. In 2007, she released “Opheliac” proving to the music industry she was ready for world domination. In 2012 she set out to make a statement like only Emilie Autumn can make with the release of “Fight Like A Girl” – which sold 3,000 copies in 24 hours through her personal website.

More akin to a Broadway musical than a standard rock performance, the Los Angeles-born starlet’s highly theatrical show is a sexy circus of glam-rock burlesque, backed by scantily-clad female performers known to her devoted fans as the Bloody Crumpets. Featuring Emilie Autumn’s signature electric violin pyrotechnics, heartbreakingly lush orchestrations, hardcore beats, and menacing lyrics growled with enough intensity to make your hair stand on end, the resulting noise is a harpsichord-heavy romp through Victorian asylums where screaming is allowed and girls always get revenge.

In addition to her recordings, she portrayed The Painted Doll in Darren Bousman’s 2011 film The Devil’s Carnival and has written a part biography / part historical fantasy 264 page full color novel entitled The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls. This specimen of literary genius compares what Ms. Autumn herself had to sustain in a modern day facility to what the women and girls of the 1800’s would have to sustain in asylums. Switching back and forth between the two worlds she captures the horror and torture that inmates/patients must endure on a daily basis. The novel is the basis for her newest musical release “Fight Like A Girl” with a full scale musical to follow.

About Kerry Wayne James / Tall Dark & Lonesome

Tall Dark & Lonesome’s lyrics carry truth that only years of mining the soul can uncover. Only in complete darkness can one begin to understand all the tentacles that love has wrapped around our souls. Love is a pathetically complicated issue and is more than you or anyone else thinks it can ever be, because love is larger than all of us combined.

This is where Tall Dark & Lonesome resides.

Kerry Wayne James, the intrepid orchestrator of this emotional journey, has come to the forefront of his musical expedition of self realization. And this couldn’t have come at a better time. Don’t we all need to be on this journey? Tall Dark & Lonesome will take you there.

Its obvious on the first listen that what’s been cooked up is years of pent-up musical expression that have finally found their way to your ears. Songs like “Free Yourself” give us a chance to sit up straight again, and we best just do that. Tall Dark & Lonesome is the project you are listening to right now and If you are not following this then perhaps you will be doomed to standing in line for the wrong show.
