The Art of the Pin Up Featuring Sash and Milloux Suicide1

This past Saturday Sash and Milloux Suicide modelled for a special two hour live figure drawing session at Gallery Nucleus to celebrate the opening of their Poster Peepshow exhibition, which features pin up art from the past and present.

Olivia De Berardinis, whose work is prominently featured in the group show, signed copies of her books, while boutique Central Coast winery Sort This Out Cellars poured their suave Rat Pack-inspired libations. Julie Newmar (the original Catwoman), glamour gal about town Lenora Claire, our own Lauren Suicide, and Runaways producer Kim Fowley were also in attendance.

The not to be missed exhibition, which features rare vintage originals from pin up masters Art Frahm, Rolf Armstrong, K.O. Munson, Al Moore and Al Buell, alongside contemporary works from Olivia De Berardinis, Craig Elliott, Lawrence Noble, Jim, Silke, Stuntkid, and Dean Yeagle, among others, will run through February 28th.
