SuicideGirls hung out with Hello Kitty and friends this past weekend to celebrate their creator, Sanrio’s 50th anniversary. The ’80s themed Kitty In Pink prom party, was the culmination of a 10 day “Small Gift” exhibition at Santa Monica Airport’s Barker Hanger, which featured especially commissioned art from SG’s own Mrs Misha, among others. Let us answer life’s questions – because great advice is even better when it comes from SuicideGirls.

[Casca in Professor]

Q. So a couple who are both friends of mine have approached me and asked me if I’d participate in a threesome with them, partly because I’m the token bi friend and partly because the guy kind of has a thing for me. The girl, being the one I’m closer to, was the one who asked. I accepted, because it could be fun, because better me than someone who’ll hog the guy in front of his girlfriend and otherwise not give a shit about them, and because I’m kind of curious how I’ll act in it.

However, today he told me that he’s really worried that she is only going through with it to please him. She’s joked about being curious before, and when he asked her, she said she was sure she didn’t want to back out, but that’s not really the same as actually being up for it. His dilemma, as such, is that he really wants this to happen, and she knows that. She’s not got a vocal problem with it, but he doesn’t want her to feel she’s being pressured into lesbian sex for the sake of him getting his rocks off, nor would he want her to if she wasn’t also game. And truth be told, she’s not really assertive enough that she would say if she didn’t want this to happen.

I agree that this is out of character for her, but she didn’t seem apprehensive when she asked me if I was up for it, so I’m not sure if she’s not genuinely willing to do this. The last thing I want is to drive these two apart – or drive her away from me – but I’m worried that she’ll feel she can’t please him if we cancel.

Please help. We’ve scheduled it for the end of the month, when she’s home from University, but the guy and I have no idea if we should go through with this.

Mission Statement: “I live in Israel, the country of great humus and endless politic conflicts. Non of that actually had any impact on me creatively, though I do love humus. It’s just that drawing was always a thing I did. Since I don’t have an unusual, fancy, interesting life, I make it happen through pen and paper. I’ve never have a “muse” or a vision. I can actually go months without drawing because I just can’t. I get my inspiration through dreams, things that happen around me, my (very troubled) relationships, drugs, mental states and so on…My sketchbook is like my diary, the story of my life – which can sometimes be really crappy and lame, but I try anyway. “

In the last installment of our futuristic fiction series, Please Use Rear Exit, Mikhail, who’d just X’ed is GF Katya, had ridden the #720 to the Low bar. Having been absent from his “regular” libation center, and therefore a stranger to his “friends” Jayson and Chevy, when he’s confronted by the later (who’s a rapper, who rhymes, all the tymes) he considers his next move carefully. Of the four approaches that run through Mikhail’s mind, option D – awkwardly asking Chevy “What’s up” – could prove optimal.

D). Mikhail absent-mindedly chose (d).

But he told himself that such stumbling wasn’t all his fault. Katya called him the second that Chevy started to trail off. Mikhail instinctually paused to silence a phone that no one could hear vibrating, simultaneously losing his beat in the conversation and train of thought. Fortunately, all awkwardness was forgotten and forgiven en route to finding Jayson – who had posted up at one of the last empty standing tables – and simple small talk was okay enough.

Mission Statement: “My art is a fusion of Japanese anime, Hindu and Buddhist religious imagery, and traditional tattoo design. My favorite subjects to paint are mermaids, pin-ups, geishas, and monsters – preferably a mix of at least two of them at once. I like the dichotomy of having a monster look cute and sweet. My paintings and drawings are not based in reality; I try to create a world where even monsters are cute and the world is a happy place. Seeing the people not as they are but as cartoon characters. I also love doing pop culture art, using the paintings of old masters and redoing them with one of my big-eyed girls. I’ve done several variations of the Mona Lisa, The Last Supper and Venus Rising from the Waves. Part of the pop culture love is video game art, tributes to the old 8-bit era, an interest that I’ve had since childhood and was rekindled by a group show I was in at gallery in L.A. in 1988.”

If you’re anything like me (not likely; you’re probably way cooler) then you had no idea you could make mozzarella cheese, at home, in about an hour, without very much work. When I saw cheesemaking kits online, I decided they would make great Christmas gifts, but I wanted to try it out first. Below are the basics (loosely laid out) on how to make mozzarella cheese at home!

I didn’t grow up vegan, but I can’t imagine how frustrating it would be to go trick-or-treating and come home with a bag full of candy you can’t eat. Now that I’m too old to walk around the neighbourhood asking for candy, I sit at home and give it out. While vegan kids can’t eat – and vegan grown-ups don’t give out – miniature chocolate bars, there are a few types of common candy that are “accidentally vegan.”
